OUR STORY SINCE 1994
oezpa was founded in 1994 by Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özdemir (born in 1960, Istanbul) and Mrs. Barbara Lagler Özdemir (born in 1964, Lucerne) in Berlin.
Our team comes from national and international organizational development work. We have worked in national and international companies as executives, internal consultants, coaches and trainers.
In addition, we have gained external consulting experience in various consulting companies. These experiences ensure the continuous professionalization and further development of the oezpa Institute
Since its foundation, oezpa has established itself in the field of organizational development. In its open training courses, oezpa qualify independent consultants and employees from organizations in leadership and consultancy work as well as in coaching. Thus, oezpa is also active as the “Advisor to the Advisor” or “Coach of the Coach”.
In addition to the home market of Germany and Switzerland, oezpa was able to carry out comprehensive consulting projects throughout the world every year, such as in the USA, China, Turkey, England, Poland, France, Italy, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Peru, Spain, Denmark and Austria.
In 1999, parallel to our consulting activities, our visiting professorships and teaching assignments began at universities. First at the University of Wuppertal, then at the Center for Leadership Studies (University of Exeter, England), then at the University of the Arts (Institute of Electronic Business, Berlin), at the Nordakademie (the University of Applied Sciences) and at the Fresenius Hochschule Cologne. Other visiting professorships at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad / India (IIAM) and ESAN University Lima / Peru followed as part of our group relations activities.
In 2008 the oezpa institute publishing house (edition oezpa) was founded. The aim of the institute’s publishing house is to make a contribution to practical research in the field of organizational development, coaching, leadership and project management by means of print and audiovisual publications.

To help our customers to be more successful and satisfied in their roles and companies is my heart's desire! In the process, I will keep learning new things and try to incorporate my findings into my consulting work.
Our self-concept
We accompany executives, employees, teams and organizations in their self-driven development. In our consulting work, we are guided by a comprehensive understanding of development and a holistic organizational picture. In doing so, we consider interactions of strategies, structures, processes, cultures and people. In the self-concept of our offered services, we see ourselves as a consulting and training company. The peculiarity lies in the networking of different services and methodological approaches, which make a holistic and sustainable development and organizational change possible in the first place.
